Promote a positive environment that fosters fun, safety, and learning. Treat every student fairly and equally, encouraging a supportive environment. Arrive on time and fulfill commitments to scheduled shifts. Ensure the safety of swim‑lesson students at all times. Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum. Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork promptly. Interact with parents/guardians about activities and development, acting as a GFSS ambassador. Use problem‑solving and creative thinking to resolve challenges that students encounter. Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues and report them to management. Maintain proper storage of all pool equipment; place and remove lane lines. Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, and trash removal as needed. Attend required training, workshops, and in‑service sessions outside normal working hours. Assume additional responsibilities as given by a supervisor and cross‑train when required.
