Shift Schedule 1st shift Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Rate $19-23/ hour Responsibility Plans, directs and coordinates inventory management in McGard. Job Duties Develops and implement procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present. Identify and optimize common inventory items. Ensure that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner. Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and be able to justify the issues. Assist in determining the root cause on inventory discrepancies and eliminate repetitive errors. Work with steel storage warehouses to inventory steel. Arrange for steel deliveries to the various steel locations. Develops, evaluates, and improves processes in area of responsibility (AOR). Ability to present information effectively in a manner suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely either verbally or in writing to ensure that the intended audience understands the information and the message. Documents and reports more complex or unique issues and effectively articulates written conclusions. Makes determinations based on facts. Other duties may be assigned. Education / Skill Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three (1-3) years; related experience in part handling, production control, or supply chain management Physical Demands & Work Environment Position requires individual to be capable of traveling & working throughout the entire facility, within reasonable accommodation.
