Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive school setting near San Jose, CA. This full-time contract position offers the chance to deliver transformative instruction and individualized support to students in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP role). You’ll work closely with a collaborative team, engage families, and help students with mild to moderate needs reach their goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active California CTC credential with Mild/Moderate authorization is required
• Experience in Special Education, particularly as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based environment
• Strong understanding of IEP process, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Skilled at collaborating with general educators, related service providers, and families
• Adaptable and committed to differentiated instruction and positive behavioral supports
• Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills

What You’ll Do:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students assigned to your caseload within the Resource Specialist Program (RSP)
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assess student abilities and modify instruction to support diverse learning needs
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate regularly with staff and participate in IEP meetings, interventions, and parent communications
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment

This contract position is full-time (35-37.5 hours/week), beginning in October and running through the end of the school year.
