Solution Architect

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end system architecture for enterprise and cloud-native applications.

• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions using .NET, Java, and cloud platforms.

• Provide architectural guidance for microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures , and integration patterns.

• Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices .

• Review solution designs, technical specifications, and code to ensure alignment with architecture.

• Collaborate with business, product, DevOps, security, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Guide teams on cloud adoption, migration, and modernization strategies.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks , performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

• Mentor and coach senior developers and technical leads.

Technical Skills & Experience

Core Technologies

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET (ASP.NET Core, C#, Web APIs) and Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) .

• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns , and SOLID principles.

Cloud & DevOps

• Extensive experience with one or more cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / GCP .

• Expertise in cloud-native architectures , containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes ).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).

Architecture & Integration

• Expertise in microservices architecture , RESTful services, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).

• Experience with API management , security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and identity solutions.

• Strong knowledge of application security, performance tuning, and scalability .

Data & Storage

• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.).

• Understanding of data modeling, caching strategies, and data consistency patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field.

• 15+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in a technical leadership or architect role.

• Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP Architect) are a plus.
