Volunteer Special Deputy - Public Safety & Water Patrol

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits is seeking Volunteer Special Deputies for the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. This role involves providing public safety service, participating in training, and engaging with the community. Volunteers will handle various duties, such as responding to emergencies, patrolling waterways, and assisting public safety agencies. Applicants must be 18 years old, pass required examinations, and commit to training sessions starting January 2027.
