What You'll Do

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Assess results for professional accuracy, troubleshoot operational issues, and execute routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required, ensuring peak quality.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, assist in training new employees or students, and help uphold strict laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Foster a clean and safe laboratory environment while diligently adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Hold or obtain within the first year the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS).
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
