This full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) focuses exclusively on elementary students—providing a manageable caseload capped at 35-40 and the supportive atmosphere needed to make a meaningful difference, right from a single home base. The district’s dual language program seeks a professional who is bilingual or fluent in Spanish to work with Spanish-speaking students in a dynamic, culturally rich educational setting.

This school-based role offers flexibility—create a schedule within standard school hours that fits your life, with interviews and onboarding happening now for an immediate start (1-2 weeks from job offer). Orientation is provided prior to assignment and strong onsite support is always available. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will have direct supervision and guidance—making this an ideal opportunity to launch or elevate your SLP career.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Must hold or be eligible for ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Bilingual or fluent in Spanish (required for dual enrollment caseloads)
• Ability to work with elementary-age students, primarily in a school-based setting
• Comfort with dual language instruction and engaging Spanish-speaking families/students
• License to practice Speech Language Pathology in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech/language services to elementary students under dual language enrollment
• Collaborate with educational teams, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment
