Speech Pathologist

Speech Pathologist Full‑time position located at Piedmont Columbus Midtown. Overview Provides speech‑language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; interprets assessment data; plans and performs treatment intervention programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Supervises rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, and may be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff. Responsibilities Provide speech‑language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and planning and performing treatment intervention programs. Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Supervise rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers; orient and guide assigned staff. Qualifications Education: Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Licenses and Certifications CCC – Clinical Speech Pathologist from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA). Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology.
