Information Technology Support Manager

Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the Chicago area, is looking for a Senior Manager / Director – Executive IT Support . Position Summary: This senior leadership position will serve as the primary IT point of contact for C-suite executives, SVPs, and senior leadership within a high-profile Chicago office. The role combines executive-level white-glove IT support, hands-on technical troubleshooting, AV and conference room support, and leadership of a small desktop and AV support team. The candidate must be comfortable operating at a leadership level while remaining highly hands-on and personally resolving critical technical issues. This role will also support Board of Directors meetings, executive conferences, and other high-visibility events. What the right candidate will enjoy: Supporting and building relationships with C-suite executives and senior leadership Taking ownership of high-visibility IT and AV initiatives Leading a small, highly responsive technical support team Working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same Ensuring seamless technology experiences for executive meetings and events What type of experience does the right candidate have: Strong, hands-on experience supporting C-suite executives and senior leadership in a white-glove environment Senior-level experience in Executive IT Support, Deskside Support, IT Service Delivery, or End User Computing Strong troubleshooting experience across Windows and Mac environments Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and enterprise collaboration technologies Strong AV and conference room technology experience Experience supporting Board meetings, executive events, conferences, or other high-profile meetings Previous experience leading or managing a small technical support team Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Serve as the primary IT point of contact for C-suite executives, SVPs, and senior leadership Provide white-glove support and personally troubleshoot complex hardware, software, connectivity, and collaboration issues Lead IT and AV support for Board meetings, executive conferences, and high-visibility events Conduct conference room and office technology checks to proactively identify and resolve issues Lead and provide direction to a small team of desk-side and AV support professionals Partner with AV resources to ensure conference rooms and meeting technology are fully operational Establish and maintain a high standard of executive IT support and service delivery Remain hands-on and serve as the escalation point for critical technical issues #J-18808-Ljbffr Optomi
