Section II: Summary of Job Function
\nAssist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the Perioperative care of the patient undergoing a surgical experience
\nThe RNFA/NP uses the nursing process in the formulation of the plan of care
\nThe RNFA functions within the policies and guidelines established by the facility and reports directly to the OR Leadership
\nThe RNFA is an expanded role of the registered nurse/APN and is accountable for exemplifying leadership and professionalism in the implementation of the role

Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure
\nLicensed Registered Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse in the state or New Jersey License required
\nMasters prepared in Nursing from an accredited program
\nBLS and ACLS certification required
\nRNFA completion or enrolled in a RNFA program upon hire
\n1-2 years of recent adult or acute care with OR experience
\nDemonstrated ability to establish positive, collaborative relationships with physicians, managers and hospital staff is essential
\nWell developed ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects
