Registered Nurse - ICU

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The ICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. They are responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions continuously and interpret vital signs and monitoring data. Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Vasopressors, and Versed. Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations, including ventilator management and infusion adjustments. Document patient care accurately using hospital EMR systems and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures. Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and maintain certification requirements. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with ICU experience preferred. Obtain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Demonstrate proficiency in ICU procedures, ventilator management, and use of monitoring technology. Ability to handle high-acuity patients and work efficiently under pressure. Be flexible to work 8 or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
