Patient Services Representative

What you will be doing as the Patient Services Representative:- Main point of contact for all patients.
- Interact with all patients as they enter, leave, or request assistance within any of the facilities.
- Exemplify customer service while ensuring each patient interaction is handled with care.
- Coordinate patient check in.
- Schedule for follow up appointments.
- Answer phones.
- Take insurance
- Manage scheduling changes,
- Handle registration and insurance verification
- Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications
- Collect copays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure HIPAA compliance.
- High School Diploma or GED - Minimum Required; Associates Degree - Preferred Degree
- EPIC experience is required
- 6 months+ of healthcare experience
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train others as needed.
