Quickly interviewing viable candidates: Phone call/text from a 405 area code As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Summer Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

ORIENTATION SCHEDULE

Every Monday

Unit/Department Info:

• Avg. patients per day: 4-6
• Patient population: Most patients need short term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stay (varied reasons for original facility admission)
• 1 PTA and 1 COTA on staff along with 1 PT and 1 OT
• Coverage area: 50 miles of Fort Dodge, IA. This OT traveler will average 200-250 miles/week
• Weekly team meetings occur virtually; monthly in-person meetings
• Orientation: First day general organization orientation and required online courses. 2 days of Epic (EMR) training, couple days doing ride along/shadow visits. We also have a therapy manager who would support all things the first couple weeks reviewing documentation and answering any questions virtually. Typically fully productive by week 3.

RequirementDescription:

• 2 years of previous OT experience [required] - home health experience [preferred] but is NOT necessary! Department is willing to train and there is a Therapy manager who would support all functions through the first couple weeks of the assignment.
• First time travelers accepted!
• Epic experience [preferred]
• State license [required]
• Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 12 months [required]
• Must have own vehicle - Mileage will be reimbursed
