General Cleaners

Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors.

Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following:

• Sanitizing restrooms, empties trash, sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, and vacuum cleans and spot cleans carpets.
• Dusts and spot clean walls and polish all stainless steel i.e. water fountains fixtures. Dust blinds. Dust cabinets, furniture, partitions and desk tops.
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, upholstery and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walk ways.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Specific duties include:

• Set up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small & large liners.
• Pull trash from offices change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trash
• Vacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (able to lift 45 lbs)
• Detail section each night
• Restroom cleaning
• Set cart-up replenish supplies
• Replenish, toilet tissue
• Empty trash (including sanitary boxes)
• Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughly
• Clean all walls by wiping
• Wipe clean all stainless steel
• Sweep floor under toilets urinals
• Wet mop floor
• Use air freshener
• Restock cart for next day
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner.
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Must be able to mix solutions correctly
• Must be able to report to work on time and work scheduled shift.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
