Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Surgical ICU position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• 18-bed adult Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU) serving patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases across all phases of care
• Fast-paced, highly acute critical care environment affiliated with a Heart Vascular Institute
• Interdisciplinary team-based care model with a focus on research-based, innovative practice
• 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required (EOH)
• Charting performed in Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — must be from AHA only
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Active MA license must be in hand prior to consideration — no pending licenses accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions

• Unit is grounded in high-quality, accessible, and innovative critical care practice with a strong commitment to patient experience
• All certifications must be AHA only
• Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking available at the Boston location; public parking is available nearby, and public transportation is encouraged
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the travel experience requirement
