CNC Machinist

Shift Options : 2nd shift, 3rd shift and Weekend Shifts available
Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, including changeovers, to support production requirements on 3rd shift.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to perform correct machine setups and machining operations.
• Perform in-process inspections of parts to verify dimensions and tolerances using appropriate measuring tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspections, measurements, and production activities.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Support machining operations involving complex equipment, including 5-axis and Multus machines, as applicable.
• Apply mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading skills to troubleshoot and resolve machining and setup issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area within the machine shop.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in training and assessments, including Class B competency evaluations, to demonstrate and improve technical skills.

Work Environment
This role is based in a 104,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on 3rd shift, working from 11:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. New hires train on 1st shift for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the overnight schedule. The environment is a busy machine shop with CNC lathes and advanced equipment such as 5-axis and Multus machines, supporting large-volume production work. Employees have access to an onsite gym and an employee lounge with a couch and flatscreen TV, and the facility hosts regular social events such as monthly barbeques and company competitions. Dogs are allowed in the workplace on Wednesdays and Thursdays, contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere alongside a professional, safety-conscious production setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $74880.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
