Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay between $1,606 and $1,714 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Night, 2x3 schedule. Setting: hospital emergency department. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,606-$1,714 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night, 2x3 nights Start date: 06/15/2026 Setting: ER in a hospital Credentialing may be in process; conditional compliance allowed Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, rapid assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring. Administer medications, initiate IV access, perform basic procedures as ordered, and interpret monitoring data to guide treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied team members; document care in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and accurate handoffs. Manage acutely ill and trauma patients, respond to emergencies and trauma activations per department protocols; maintain situational awareness in a fast‑paced setting. Support discharge planning, patient and family education, and referrals to appropriate services as needed. Requirements ER nursing experience: 4 years of well‑rounded adult and pediatric ER clinical practice. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC/ENPC preferred. Credentialing: conditional compliance may be allowed if credentialing is in progress. Availability to work night shifts and a 2x3 schedule; able to travel for an eight‑week assignment.
