Echo Technician I – Part Time, Days Primary City/State: Shea Medical Center – 9003EShea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ85260 Job Summary The Echo Tech I performs high‑quality cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures under the direction of a supervisor, ensuring compliance with department policies and accreditation standards while delivering excellent patient and customer service. Key Responsibilities Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations with technical proficiency. Document findings in appropriate electronic reporting systems, including reporting and charging of procedures. Assist in quality control & quality assurance activities. Maintain laboratory accreditation by following protocols and participating in accreditation activities. Coordinate patient scheduling and communicate with other personnel. Participate in continuing education, meetings, and other educational or research activities. Assist in laboratory maintenance, equipment calibration, and safety compliance. Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate with team members to exceed patient expectations. Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program. 10 months of experience as a cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound technologist in a hospital or clinic setting (new graduates may apply). Strong technical skill set with independent judgment and initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adhere to safety standards and maintain confidentiality. Proficient in electronic reporting systems. Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) – Current certification. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – Current, or eligibility. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – Current, or eligibility. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – Current, or eligibility. Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) – Current, or eligibility.
