Position Details Full Time Monday-Friday, hours flexible as driven by the OR schedule and need of patients Surgical Assist with experienced general orthopedic surgeon See patients in the clinic and perform inpatient consults/follow ups Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR Environment that encourages learning and career development Competitive Salary, Plus Comprehensive Benefits Package Including, CME, 401K, and Malpractice Requirements Needed to Apply Active Texas license Strong Communication Skills Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program Ortho surgical experience preferred First assist surgical experience required Education and Experience Education: Master’s Degree Physician Assistant Req Experience: 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref Licenses and Certifications: PA - Physician Assistant Upon Hire Req Skills: Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making. Supervision: Individual Contributor ADA Requirements: Working Indoors 67% or more Mechanical Hazards 1-33% Electrical Hazards 1-33% OSHA: Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
