We’re building something different

007 Venture Partners is a seed-stage venture fund backing purpose-driven founders across the Transpacific region. We leverage deep access to founder communities and leading accelerators such as Airbnb Alumni, Y Combinator, a16z Speedrun, and others to identify exceptional early-stage companies. We believe the most important companies of our time will be built by founders solving humanity’s hardest problems, and that these companies can generate both strong financial returns and meaningful long-term impact.

We exist to bridge the US and APAC ecosystems, backing founders building companies that matter, and helping capital flow more intelligently across regions that are still deeply underconnected. Our team works closely with mission-driven founders and investors who share a long-term view of transformative innovation.

The Role

This is a Partner, Capital & Community role. It is part-time, carry-based, and designed for someone who wants real ownership in an emerging fund, not just a title.

You will work directly with the Founding GP to build out our LP base, deepen investor relationships, and help shape how the fund is positioned and perceived in the market. For the right person, there is a clear pathway to General Partner.

This role is for someone who wants to stay close to venture, without stepping away from everything else they are building.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Open doors to investor operators, family offices, HNWIs, and institutional LPs through your network, and consistently source and introduce qualified LP leads
• Help build the Transpacific bridge of operators and investors between the US and APAC, strengthening cross-regional capital, talent, and founder connectivity
• Host and organise intimate events, private dinners, and partnerships with aligned founder and investor communities, as well as reputable brands
• Co-lead investor conversations, follow-ups, and fund presentations alongside the GP
• Help sharpen fundraising materials, LP segmentation, and overall narrative positioning
• Source and evaluate early-stage deal flow where your background gives you a clear edge
• Support portfolio companies as an advisor, connector, and strategic sounding board
• Contribute to shaping the fund’s long-term narrative, positioning, and strategic direction

What’s Important

• You are based in San Francisco, where presence and proximity to the ecosystem matters
• You have alignment with our Core Values and work with deep integrity
• You have prior experience raising capital, whether for a startup, fund, or other investment vehicle
• You come from the operator side first, as a founder, early team member, or hands-on builder
• You are embedded in relevant communities across startups, venture, or the the transpacific region
• You have great people skills and are credible in rooms that matter, including founders, operators, and capital allocators
• You are not currently a partner at another fund, this requires real focus and long-term commitment
• You are passionate about building the Transpacific corridor between the US and APAC and see it as one of the most underleveraged opportunities in venture today.

This is a building and entrepreneurial role. We are still very early in our journey, currently closing out Fund I while beginning preparations for Fund II. We are not a mature, established fund as we are actively in the early stages of building and shaping the firm for the future.

This is not a role for someone seeking stability or a fully defined, institutionalised environment, but for someone who wants to help build something from the ground up.
