Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Logistics Department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Material Handler Location: Warwick, RI Pay Range: $18-20 What's the Job? Perform shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Machine Operating Procedures (MOP). Maintain accurate records and inventory balances through proper transactions. Operate various warehouse equipment including sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and RF scanners. Conduct safety checks and maintain equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies. What's Needed? Minimum 2 years of warehouse work experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts and stock pickers preferred. Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and JD Edwards. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and LTL shipping procedures.
