Associate Scientist II, Immunoassay Development

Vaxcyte seeks an Associate Scientist II to support immunoassay development and lifecycle management within its CMC group. The role involves hands-on assay execution, reagent preparation, data analysis, and laboratory documentation to advance vaccine characterization across the pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Execute immunoassays for potency, antigenicity, identity, stability, and characterization testing
- Prepare reagents, buffers, samples, assay controls, and reference materials for testing
- Perform hands-on laboratory operations including instrument use, plate preparation, and data capture
- Generate and summarize assay data including standard curves, precision, and system suitability results
- Support critical reagent qualification, inventory tracking, and stability study activities
Requirements
- Experience with immunoassay platforms such as ELISA, MSD, or bead-based assays
- Proficiency in laboratory operations and sample handling procedures
- Strong documentation and data integrity practices in regulated environments
- Ability to follow protocols and work collaboratively under scientific supervision
- Knowledge of analytical method development and troubleshooting principles
