Full responsibilities, required qualifications, and the apply link are listed in the description below.## Resume Keywords to IncludeMake sure these keywords appear in your resume to improve ATS scoringNetSuiteAPORVendor ManagementComplianceAccountsPayableNonSign up free to auto-tailor your resume with all these keywords and get a higher ATS score## Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Manager (Non-Profit)Location: Remote (Must be based in the Washington, DC metro area)Employment Type: Full-Time### OverviewCherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organization seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the AP function.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong NetSuite expertise who can manage day-to-day AP operations while driving process improvements in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.Key Responsibilities* Oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance* Manage and mentor AP staff, providing guidance and oversight on daily activities* Review and approve invoices, payments, and expense reports* Maintain and improve AP workflows, controls, and procedures* Ensure compliance with internal policies and non-profit accounting requirements* Partner with accounting and finance teams on:* Month-end close and accrual processes* Vendor management and payment schedules* Audit support and documentation* Leverage NetSuite to drive reporting, efficiency, and process improvements* Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed### Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field* 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with leadership or supervisory experience* Strong experience with NetSuite required* Background in non-profit accounting highly preferred* Solid understanding of AP processes, controls, and compliance standards* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities### Preferred Qualifications* Experience in a remote or hybrid work environment* Exposure to audit support and financial reporting processes* Strong communication and team leadership skillsWhy This Opportunity* Opportunity to lead AP operations within a mission-driven organization* High-visibility role with impact on process improvement and efficiency* Flexible remote environment with a collaborative team cultureIND4
