Title Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Job Description Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development and implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment. Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile working area. Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry to provide efficient patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices Salary Range part-time $45 - $55 per hour Salary based on Experience. Shift & Schedule Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Requirements Dentrix Licensed dental hygienist Skills Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental office management systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education. Preferences Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic setting. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively while assisting the dentist during procedures. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records.
