Now Hiring: Medical Assistant | Macomb County, MI

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay: $19.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time | 8-hour Day Shift | Monday-Friday
Some clinic locations may require occasional Saturdays.

A-Line Staffing is always looking for a compassionate Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient medical office! In this role, you'll work directly with patients and providers to deliver quality care while keeping clinic operations running smoothly.

Job Duties:

Room patients and prepare them for exams and procedures
Take vital signs and document patient information in the electronic medical record (EHR)
Assist providers during exams and treatments
Administer medications and immunizations as directed
Perform blood draws (phlebotomy), EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical testing
Process medication refills, lab orders, and radiology orders
Respond to patient phone calls, portal messages, and questions
Schedule appointments and outpatient procedures
Provide patients with discharge instructions and education
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Help ensure excellent patient care and customer service throughout each visit

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following:

Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour clinical externship , OR
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with at least 1 year of recent clinical Medical Assistant experience (within the last 5 years), OR
Certified Medical Assistant with 5+ years of clinical Medical Assistant experience
