The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and grow a high‑performing engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, rapid prototyping, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide career guidance and development opportunities for team members. Define and drive the technical roadmap for leveraging Gemini and AI Agents to improve Chrome quality. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in GenAI and identify promising technologies to explore. Advocate an agile, results‑oriented approach, balancing speed of execution with technical excellence. Ensure model performance translates to tangible improvements in product quality and user experience. Partner with Product Management, UX, Research, GeminiApp, and other engineering teams across Chrome and Google to define product outlook, refine requirements, establish success metrics, and ensure impactful and responsible feature launches.
