StevenDouglas has been retained by an Oil and Gas company that is looking for a Financial Analyst, however this role is accounting focused. In this position, you'll be assisting with the accounting function but will focus on financial analysis of their key products. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with foundational accounting experience who is looking to pivot into a more analytical and strategic position. Responsibilities Perform financial analysis related to key products Assist with monthly accounting close and reporting processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and operational data Support budgeting and forecasting activities Work cross-functionally with trading, operations, and finance teams to interpret financial impacts Identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 2–4 years of professional accounting experience Strong analytical mindset with an interest in product-level financial performance Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Oil and Gas Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr StevenDouglas
