Job Summary:
Telemetery Medical Surgical Float (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves providing direct patient care within a Med Tele unit, utilizing specialized skills such as drug titration, and working in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Springfield, MO
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0700, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Number of Openings: 1
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Certifications: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri), BLS from AHA, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Experience and Skills: 1 year telemedicine experience, competence in drug titration, inpatient experience required
- Education: No minimum experience specified; candidates must possess active licensure and certifications listed
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, monitors patient condition, and coordinates with other departments, while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. This role involves working with adult patients on a Med Tele unit, with patient ratios varying from 1:5-1:7 depending on the shift.
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, 36 or 48 hours guaranteed weekly, with flexible scheduling and potential blocked days. RTO requests are to be made in advance and cannot be made in the first week.
