• Position: RN – Cardiac Tele
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week (must specify on submission)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Openings: 1
• Auto Offer: Yes (qualified candidates)

Requirements

• Active Missouri RN license (or eligible for Missouri licensure)
• BLS (AHA only) – Required
• NIHSS – Required before start (can submit without it initially)
• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac/Telemetry RN experience
• Experience with cardiac patients and IV drug titration
• Must be willing to float to similar units as needed

Unit Details

• 31 beds
• Patient population: Cardiac & Medical-Surgical
• Ratios (estimated):
  • Days: 1:5–1:6
  • Nights: 1:6–1:8
• EMR: Epic
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment

Weekend & Call

• Weekend: As required by the facility
• Call: None

Orientation

• Night shift staff orient on day shift
• Must be available for the entire orientation week

Scheduling / Time-Off Rules

• Choose 36 or 48 guaranteed hours on submission
• Block scheduling may be approved if requested
• No RTO during the first week
• RTO must be made up at the end of the contract
• Only one holiday RTO request allowed per assignment

Dress Code

• Black scrubs
• No torn clothing or open-toed shoes

Vaccination

• Flu vaccine or Mercy-approved exemption is required from November 1–April 1
• Flu declinations are not accepted

Good Candidate Profile

• At least 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Tele experience
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring
• Experience titrating cardiac medications
• Flexible and willing to float
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
