Travel Physical Therapist - $2,866 per week

Travel Physical Therapist – Torrance, CA We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Torrance, CA. The assignment will last 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on 8‑hour days in an acute care setting. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute individualized plans of care for patients across a variety of acute care populations. Supervise PTAs and support staff, including therapy technicians. Bill services in accordance with facility guidelines and state regulations. Ensure compliance with the applicable state board rules and regulations. Coordinate with medical center personnel and physicians to provide a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and appropriately use adaptive equipment. Modify patient plans as needed based on clinical status. Use the medical center computer system for daily documentation and reporting. Provide accurate documentation in line with state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of physical therapy experience; 1 year preferred. New graduates may apply. BLS certification required; ABPTS certification or equivalent accepted. State‑specific licensing required, with knowledge of local board rules. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Compensation Pay is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
