The team is committed to ensuring remote work is a collaborative and productive experience for everyone, regardless of where you commit code.Every day:Build state-of-the-art UI features on the leading TV app that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on performance and memory constrained devices.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, algo, and other engineering partners to scope projects and build delightful user experiences. We validate our judgment by A/B testing product variants with real customers, instead of assuming we know what is best.Work on a code base that is TypeScript/JavaScript based, built with React Frameworks & Redux architecture fine-tuned for TV platforms, and tested with proprietary Jest-based automation frameworks.Own the quality of your features by writing testable code and crafting automation to validate functionality, in partnership with test engineers.Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on the business. Really.What sets you apart:You have 3+ years of experience working on consumer-facing products/apps.You are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and can navigate different languages and technology stacks (eg. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $250,000.00 - $413,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
