Correctional Records Supervisor (CRS) - Positions TP03 and TQ07

Employee and Organizational Support Division Tolling Records Unit

These positions are eligible to telework; travel may be required for training or meetings.

The Employee and Organizational Support Division has two (2) full-time Correctional Records Supervisor (CRS) openings available. These positions are within the Tolling Records Unit and are located at DOC Headquarters in Tumwater, WA and the Tacoma Community Justice Center in Tacoma, WA.

The work schedule for these positions are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Three (3) or more years of reconciling tolling activities and verifying scheduled end dates for individuals under the Departments jurisdiction.

Five (5) years' of experience maintaining or processing records of individuals under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections in an adult correctional agency.* NOTE: Records are defined as records containing certified copies of original documents relating to the individual's crime and sentence. These records are not property files, grievance files, administrative files, treatment files, slough files, parole files, counselor files or custody files.

College-level course work in criminal justice, business administration, accounting, social science or a related field will substitute, year for year, for up to two (2) years' of experience.

Must respect and maintain confidentiality.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, the public, and criminal justice agencies.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems under highly stressful or adverse situations.

Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize computer-based applications in the performance of job duties.

Demonstrated mathematical skills to compute complex sentence structure calculations.

Demonstrated knowledge of Washington sentencing laws, DOC supervision types, and applicable DOC policy to ensure knowledge of criminal history document processing

Pass a CRS aptitude test with 70% or more accuracy.

In accordance with WFSE Section 2 Supplemental DOC Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2025-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY.

• You are a permanent DOC employee.
• You currently hold permanent status in the job class being recruited for in this job posting.
