CNC Lathe Machinist

Pay Range: $28 to $35/hr + Robust Benefits
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire
Hours: M – F: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

How you'll spend your time as a CNC Lathe Machinist:

• Read blueprints and plan the best approach for each part.
• Program parts in Mastercam for Mazak lathes.
• Set up and run dual spindle lathes, working from both sides.
• Machine precision aluminum parts to tolerances within 0.001" to 0.005".
• Turn high level designs into manufacturable parts.
• Tackle quick turn specialty work, most of it one of a kind.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure top quality.
• Keep learning and sharpening your machining skills.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a CNC Lathe Machinist:

• Mastercam programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Mazatrol experience preferred.
• Dual spindle lathe experience preferred.
• Experience holding tight tolerances, ideally in aluminum.
• Machining certificate or two-year program a plus.
• Traditional manufacturing background not required; early career candidates welcome.
• High-energy, problem-solving mindset with a drive to learn.
• Confidence to take on difficult parts and figure them out.
• This position involves export controlled information. Candidates must meet U.S. Person requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and complete federal employment eligibility verification.
