About the Position
The Division of Neuroradiology in the Radiology Department at UHealth, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position in the clinical educator track, Staff Physician. The University offers a competitive salary relative to academia for this shift position, which is enhanced by an attractive benefits package.
Responsibilities
Provide interpretations of plain film, CT and MR studies, including a combination of remote and on‑site coverage.
Schedule
The Evening position is based on a 3‑week block schedule. First week: 2‑9 pm Mon‑Fri and 1‑9 pm Sat‑Sun. Second week: off. Third week: 3‑day coverage during the week.
The successful applicant will join 11 fellowship‑trained CAQ’ed neuroradiologists, interpreting images from multiple facilities including Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics, its satellites, and UHealth Tower. The university plans to expand its footprint in South Florida with additional clinics and ambulatory centers.
Teaching, Research and Service
The Division of Neuroradiology trains many radiology residents and medical students and offers a one‑year neuroradiology fellowship (6 fellows per year). Responsibilities include clinical care/consultation, teaching of trainees, service, and potential involvement in research.
Qualifications
- Completed radiology training and passed the ABR core exam (or ABR‑certified).
- Eligible for a Florida unrestricted medical license.
- Completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology and eligible for (or CAQ in) Neuroradiology.
