Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: Fort Worth, TX , Rockwall, TX
Contract: 15 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 Nights/Week
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $1,800 – $2,100/Week, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions.

• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and other clinical indicators.

• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.

• Recognize and promptly report changes in maternal or fetal condition.

• Provide care for routine and high-risk labor and delivery patients.

• Assist with emergency interventions and procedures.

• Monitor postpartum patients for complications and provide appropriate care.

• Educate and provide emotional support to patients and families.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and facility policies.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, neonatal staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .

• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required .

• Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills.

• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D environment.

• NRP certification required.

• RNC certification preferred.

• Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.

Additional Requirements

• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility .

• Active driver's license required with submission.

• Updated resume required.

• Active RN license and NRP certification required.
