Assistant Property Manager Regular Full‑Time Administrative Support; Las Vegas, NV, US Requisition ID: 1367 – posted 6 days ago Salary Range: $51,023.02 to $81,568.03 annually Position Summary The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of one or more affordable housing properties. The role includes administrative and clerical duties that support smooth property operations in alignment with SNRHA policies and HUD regulations. Key responsibilities include showing units, processing lease renewals, handling rent collection and move‑outs, and preparing weekly and monthly reports to meet occupancy and financial goals. Duties and Responsibilities Inspect vacant and occupied rental units to ensure properties operate correctly. Perform office duties, including updating and maintaining records. Schedule third‑party vendors for major work orders and pest control. Show rental units to prospective tenants. Assign and close out work orders for maintenance staff. Post and mail notices to tenants as needed. Enter applications into the background system (Peopletrail). Submit eviction paperwork. Maintain the waitlist/interest list for properties. This position is eligible to participate in the collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Two years of relevant affordable housing residential property management experience. Two years of customer service experience. Two years of clerical/administrative experience. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, problem‑solving, crisis management, and organizational skills. Licenses and Certifications Valid Nevada driver’s license, or ability to obtain one. Certificate in Property Management, Fair Housing, and Tenant and Landlord Law. Physical Ability The job requires seeing, talking, or hearing; continuous gripping or feeling with hands; typing or repetitive movement; frequent standing; frequent sitting; frequent reaching with hands and arms; occasional climbing or balancing; occasional walking; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience preparing or maintaining tenant files in compliance with audit standards. Experience in or knowledge of Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit. Experience using property management or housing software. Strong customer service skills in a diverse, public‑facing environment.
