Non-Acute Regional Distribution Manager - West Market

MDS Regional Distribution Manager – Non‑Acute The Regional Distribution Manager is responsible for building strong business relationships with key customers, distributor representatives, and 3rd‑party sales teams. The role focuses on driving sales growth, improving distribution and field sales behavior, and serving as a change agent to enhance the value MDS delivers to our customers. The manager will oversee the MDS portfolio field distribution relationships and report directly to the National VP, Non‑Acute MDS. Responsibilities Develop and execute distribution strategy and tactical action plans to meet long‑term Non‑Acute growth goals. Collaborate with BD and channel field sales leaders to optimize sales campaigns, product launches, marketing programs, and distribution compensation initiatives. Participate in team activities with DNA, TM, ATM, and 3rd‑Party Sales Teams to build strategies and execute tactics on existing distributor accounts and competitive conversions. Build relationships with regional and branch-level distributor contacts to facilitate detailed execution of sales strategies. Coordinate with MDS Training and Marketing teams to deliver training programs that enhance selling efforts for new products. Support regional distribution meetings, provide summaries, and drive the distribution messaging agenda. Analyze geographic sales data and report monthly insights to sales leadership and distribution management. Build relationships with local 3rd‑party contract sales teams to execute sales strategies. Post‑pandemic domestic travel will be approximately 50–75% of previous levels. Knowledge and Skills Proven leadership, team efficiency, financial analysis, and sales strategy implementation skills. Strong influencing, critical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities. Learning agility and strategic thinking. Ability to build and nurture positive relationships with internal and customer partners. Fundamental knowledge of channel distribution management. Strong clinical and analytical skills applicable to the MDS business plan. Leadership ability to identify and respond to business changes and lead without authority. Effective verbal and written communication; excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated independence, self‑starting attitude, and collaboration record. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 5 years of experience with documented career progression in sales, preferably in key account management or strategic marketing. Prior experience in medical products required. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $133,000 – $200,000 (base salary and additional sales incentives).
