REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) (Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Preferred
- Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry
- Esophageal manometry interpretation
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC required (Certified)
Licenses: Active Indiana license and CSR
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS, ABLS
Experience: ERCP trained required

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for GI consults, inpatients, and transfers.
Perform ERCP and other advanced GI procedures as needed.
Manage inpatient GI cases and coordinate care.
Collaborate with APPs and rounding nurses as part of the GI team.
Deliver timely consultations for GI-related emergencies and scheduled requests.
