CRNA - PRN Bakersfield Memorial Hospital
Coachella Valley Anesthesia, in partnership with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, is launching a new pediatric anesthesia program and seeking PRN CRNAs to support and help grow this important service line. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new program from the beginning while joining a strong, well-supported anesthesia team within a rapidly expanding regional hospital.
Position Highlights:
- PRN/Per Diem CRNA opportunities available

- Opportunity to support a newly developed pediatric anesthesia service line
- Collaborative MD/CRNA care model
- Diverse case mix within a busy, growing hospital environment
- Dedicated specialty support teams including pediatric anesthesia, cardiac, OB, and regional anesthesia
- Strong administrative and clinical infrastructure supporting program launch and growth
- Optional opportunities for additional shifts and adult cases
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting compensation: $250+ per hour for pediatric cases
- Compensation varies based on experience and relevant factors
- Additional earning opportunities available
- 1099 independent contractor model
- Malpractice insurance provided
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- NBCRNA certification required
- Eligible for or active California CRNA licensure
- Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working within a collaborative team-based environment
