Weekends: Every other
Schedule: No block schedule guaranteed
Unit: 68-bed high-acuity ED, Level 3 trauma, stroke and cardiac center
EHR: Epic
Requirements: NY RN license, 3+ years ED experience, travel experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC or ATCN
Preferred: Pediatric experience
Ratios: Strive for 1:4–1:5, may vary by staffing, census, and acuity
Support: PCTs, triage/charge RN, secretary, RT, lab, critical response RN
Orientation: ½ day clinical orientation and ½ day unit shadowing
