Scheduling Supervisor

Responsibilities As a Scheduling Supervisor you will join a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will Ensure Schedulers understand and comply with all Call Center/Scheduling objectives, performance standards, processes and policies Perform continuous monitoring and evaluate Schedulers’ performance, identifying learning, coaching, and training opportunities Measure performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as average hold time, average talk time and average make busy time Provide feedback to the Scheduling Manager regarding employee performance (e.g., performance reviews, QC scorecards) Triage scheduling activities to ensure smooth and efficient department operations Identify problem areas and initiate problem solving resolutions in collaboration with management Act as the first point of patient service for escalation calls Assist manager with staffing levels, including assigning work schedules, managing time off requests and timekeeping responsibilities Act as primary resources for staff, physicians, patients and the Scheduling Manager; maintain accessibility to ensure internal service Monitor and communicate to Site/Regional Operations Managers and other members of the Operations team about scheduling backlog to enhance scheduling latitude, maximize procedural output and increase revenue Relay information regarding site conditions beyond their authority to the Operations Manager which could impact the quality of care provided for the smooth operation of the center Assist Operations Manager and other Executive Management as needed with special assignments and special projects Supervise the Medical Records team to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and established workflows are followed (may be assigned) Collaborate with the Scheduling Manager and Clinical Operations to implement, troubleshoot and support Medical Records related workflows if supervising Medical Records team If You Are Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests and colleagues Have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems are and you are able to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have Previous supervisory or lead experience is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be detail oriented and organized Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications Ability to foster teamwork, interpersonal awareness and initiative Requires 1–2 years of Medical experience/call center experience and/or a 4‑year degree We Offer Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverages Health Savings Accounts with employer funding Wellness dollars 401(k) Employer Match Free services at any of our imaging centers for you and your immediate family #J-18808-Ljbffr
