Respiratory Therapist
Administers inhalation treatments using prescribed equipment. Assembles and applies pressure devices for various respiratory therapies. Assembles equipment and administers aerosol therapy to clients. Answers emergency pages and maintains client and departmental records as assigned. Conducts in-service training for healthcare personnel in respiratory therapy procedures. May work weekends and rotating shifts. Exposed to patients who may display unpredictable behavior, infectious, or communicable diseases. Employees with a Temporary Permit must obtain a license within one year of issuance. Failure to obtain a license or meet continuing education requirements can lead to removal from the position.
$972 - $1,057 per week
