We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support key HR operations for an growing organization in Garden City, New York. This role will contribute across employee support, onboarding, benefits coordination, and day-to-day HR administration while helping maintain accurate personnel records and processes. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal judgment, a solid foundation in HR practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support employees and managers by addressing workplace questions, resolving routine HR matters, and promoting consistent application of company policies

• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and preparation for a smooth start

• Administer benefits-related activities such as enrollments, updates, and employee communications while serving as a point of contact for questions

• Maintain and update HR records within the human resources information system to ensure data accuracy and compliance

• Assist with day-to-day HR administration, including personnel file management, reporting, and employment documentation

• Partner with leadership on employee relations matters by gathering information, tracking issues, and helping facilitate appropriate follow-up

• Help ensure HR practices align with legal requirements and internal standards through organized documentation and process support

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or closely related HR role
• Demonstrated background in employee relations and general HR administration
• Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees
• Working knowledge of benefits administration and employee benefit processes
• Experience using HRIS platforms to manage employee data and records
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
