Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the vibrant community of Port Orange, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in a variety of tasks that go beyond traditional physical therapy practices, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and conditions to create tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Educating patients and their families about injury prevention techniques and effective methods to manage their physical conditions post-treatment.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of modalities to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Regularly documenting patient treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes in adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies.
• Monitoring patients’ responsiveness to therapy and making necessary modifications to treatment plans based on their evolving conditions and feedback.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and collaboratively develop holistic approaches to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients in our Rehabilitation Center, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our clientele encompasses various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric, allowing you to utilize your extensive training and skills in addressing a broad spectrum of rehabilitation needs. The connections you build with patients and their families will be vital in promoting their healing and ensuring the best outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Educational background with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient cases efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving, ensuring that patient care is both effective and evidence-based.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric care, or sports-specific therapy will find their skills advantageous in contributing to our patient care methodologies. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also beneficial in streamlining documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and USD 120,000 annually , based on your experience, qualifications, and patient caseload. In addition to a promising salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
