Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to support a grocery store-based pharmacy in South Dakota. This contract role extends for 13+ weeks, offering up to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Review and check pharmacy technician work for quality and compliance
• Provide clear and compassionate patient counseling
• Handle incoming pharmacy and patient phone calls professionally
• Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent patient service
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
