A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13+ week contract in South Dakota, providing up to 40 hours per week in a grocery store pharmacy setting. This role offers a competitive pay rate starting at $60 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Filling and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Reviewing and checking work completed by pharmacy technicians
- Providing patient counseling to ensure safe medication use
- Handling pharmacy and patient phone inquiries professionally
- Assisting with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain workflow
- Supporting the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication skills with a focus on exceptional patient service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
