Competitive Base Salary Up to $120,000 (DOE) + Bonuses Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Matching 401k (3% match), PTO, Employee Assistance Program Work-Life Balance: Paid time off and a stable, established organization In-Office Position Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for the manufacturing plant Prepare and analyze plant financial statements, production cost reports, and operational KPIs Deliver variance analysis on materials, labor, overhead, scrap, and throughput Provide data-driven analysis to plant leadership to improve operational efficiency and reduce total manufacturing cost Lead the plant's annual operating budget and periodic forecasts Execute weekly 13-week cash flow forecasts Develop financial models for new business opportunities and capital investments Communicate financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations to plant leadership Prepare and review plant-level tax support schedules Support compliance for property tax, sales/use tax, and manufacturing exemptions Track tax impacts of capital projects and inventory movements Support tax audits with timely documentation Implement and monitor internal controls for key operational and accounting processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies Serve as the main contact for internal and external auditors Partner with production, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams Provide financial evaluations for capital expenditures, tooling, and process improvements Support lean manufacturing initiatives and track financial results Directly lead and develop the AP and AR functions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is the minimum education requirement. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing and/or public accounting Experience or strong background in plant-level accounting, including month-end close, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and 13-week cash flow Strong background in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis, with proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel Proven experience with GAAP compliance, internal controls, audit support, and plant-level tax schedules (property, sales/use tax, manufacturing exemptions) Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar certification; experience in vertically integrated manufacturing; prior supervisory experience; familiarity with lean manufacturing If interested, apply directly, and also feel free to email your latest resume and your desired base salary requirements to Interested in hearing more?
