A leading global financial institution seeks an experienced VP, legal documentation professional. The role supports a broad range of trading businesses, including FX, Rates, Prime Brokerage, and Securities (cash markets and repo). [ HYBRID 3/2 Fairfield County, CT] This role combines hands-on negotiation of complex trading documentation with leadership responsibilities, including coordinating a U.S.-based documentation negotiation team, prioritizing workflow, serving as an escalation point for negotiation issues, and partnering closely with sr. stakeholders. You'll also help drive improvements to documentation standards, governance frameworks, templates, and global best practices. The position involves negotiating and managing a broad range of institutional trading documentation across multiple asset classes, including ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes (CSAs), MRAs/GMRAs, sponsored repo documentation, account control agreements, prime brokerage and FX agreements, guarantees, legal opinions, and related authority documentation. You'll work with a diverse institutional client base, including hedge funds, asset managers, private funds, corporates, and other sophisticated counterparties, while ensuring documentation aligns with regulatory requirements, internal risk standards, and U.S. swap dealer and margin regulations. Looking for ~8-10+ years of documentation negotiation experience within an investment bank, broker-dealer, hedge fund, asset manager, or other institutional financial firm. Strong knowledge of derivatives documentation, U.S. margin rules, Dodd-Frank, collateral management, and cross-functional collaboration is highly valued. #J-18808-Ljbffr Howard-Sloan Search
