Assignment Details


• Location: Kearney, Nebraska


• Practice Setting: Inpatient / Emergency Department


• Coverage: 24/7 Call Coverage


• Reason for Coverage: Lack of available orthopedic surgeons to complete the call schedule

Compensation: Orientation - $185/hr, 24 Hour On Call - $2,730 per 24 hours,


Holiday 24 Hour On Call - $4,090 per 24 hours, Call Back - $370/hr,


Holiday Call Back - $555/hr.

Schedule


• August 10-16 (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)


• September 21-27 (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)


• October 12-18 (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)


• November 16-22 (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)


• December 7-13 (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)

Clinical Details


• Level II Trauma Center


• Orthopedic trauma call


• Surgical cases as needed


• General orthopedic care


• Fracture care


• Patient Volume: Approximately 1-2 patients per day


• Hospitalists manage admissions


• EMR: Epic


• Support Staff: Emergency Department and Operating Room teams

Requirements


• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery


• Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery Residency


• Active Nebraska medical license (required) or IMLC


• DEA required


• ATLS highly preferred


• Clean malpractice history preferred


• Case logs required at the time of presentation


• Availability required at the time of name clear

Credentialing


• Approximately 30-60 days

Additional Information


• No office/clinic responsibilities


• Coverage is call only with surgical cases as needed


• No credentialing with other facilities required
