SURE/Associate Partner - Travel

About the role Infosys is seeking an Associate Partner for its Travel and Aviation vertical . The incumbent has a clear understanding of the business challenges, specific pain‑points and key impact of these on an Airline/Travel client. He or She should be able to articulate the technology trends in the industry, competitive landscape between various North American Airline operators of various sizes and have senior executive‑level connections with leaders in the industry. The incumbent should be able to lead large transformational programs to deliver the expected business outcome of such engagements. Responsibilities & Role expectations Proactively adds value beyond what is expected to exceed client expectations and maximize value added for client Actively listens and understands various aspects of Travel vertical, Airlines or other Travel vertical business like Cruise, Hotel, Car Rentals, and ensures that services provided meet clients' needs. Conduct external competitive benchmarking and analysis and develop compelling points of view Understands Airline value chain and leakages in the various parts of the value chain Articulates Airline industry best practices from people, process and technology perspectives Has domain understanding of Commercial, Operations, Engineering in this sector. Creates proactive, effective and succinct sales pitches to prospects in Airlines industry Knowledge of Modern Airline Retailing, AdTech and Martech in Travel industry Helps in creating a growth strategy and go‑to‑market solutions for the Travel practice Develops business cases, performs ROI calculations and develops capital budgets Delivers business process improvement, using consulting tools and methodologies Provides program management to deliver on time, on budget, and on value Establishes, maintains and develops strong relationships with senior client counterparts and client engagement leadership; builds and maintains credibility and trust with clients at senior (engagement) management level Creates and maintains a result‑oriented and positive teamwork culture within the engagement; respects and successfully handles diverse cultures and views Leads engagement team (client and/or Infosys internal team members); establishes and builds agreement among engagement team members for engagement milestones, resource requirements, timelines and measures of success Acts as a role model and is perceived as trustworthy and honorable in area of responsibility; inspires team members to achieve engagement goals, supports and empowers others to perform, and actively contributes to an inspiring shared vision Captures execution best practices and contributes to Infosys knowledge management initiatives Operations Drives and influences the strategy for the digital transformation practice—where and how to compete and ensures operational discipline to enable practice growth. Knowledge Management Authors multiple articles that advance the quality of client service and oversees practice‑level knowledge management activities to lead and propagate a knowledge management culture within consulting services. Business Planning Contributes to the business plan for the practice, estimates sales potential, identifies key clients, devises in‑scope strategies, identifies collaboration opportunities with IBUs, and actively contributes to group business planning. Client Relationship Management Builds and maintains professional relationships with senior and C‑level client executives, expands the professional network in client organizations, is well acquainted with the client’s business situation, can speak on behalf of the client’s best interests, counter views of client executives if necessary, anchors new and existing client accounts, and interfaces on engagement‑level client concerns. Engagement Delivery and Management Guides engagement; leads project launch to ensure a smooth kickoff. Provides intellectual leadership and active partner participation for the portfolio of projects, reviews progress periodically with the team and client, appropriately intervenes in critical situations, and guides the team to address critical issues to ensure the client realizes the business value articulated at deal closure. Offers review support and guidance for the engagement lead, resolves escalated issues, and concludes the engagement. On-Boarding the Team Provides overview and guidance to the team lead or team in large programs to prepare the team for effective client delivery, builds high morale, and positions programs for success. Proposal Development Leads teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, facilitates Infosys differentiators, articulates value proposition, reviews and fine‑tunes financials, and leads proposal presentations to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage Infosys. Opportunity Identification / Creation Creates/identifies multi‑million‑dollar opportunities within existing and new clients using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory and market changes, and Infosys services offerings. Client Identification Leverages internal contacts (e.g., IBU contacts, sales teams) and external channels (e.g., personal networks, professional networks, analysts) to identify clients where our services may provide significant business value and help create multi‑million‑dollar relationships for Infosys. Talent Management Demonstrates the ability to attract, retain and develop top 10% consulting talent and the next generation of Infosys Consulting leaders. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 12+ years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience Recent consulting experience Digital technologies (e.g., Data, Analytics, Business Transformation) experience and expertise Executive presence and clear communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to travel extensively Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship; Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role Domain Qualification Experience and expertise with travel‑related technologies (e.g., PSS, GDS, PMS, MRO, Ops, Shop‑book‑pay) Knowledge of travel ecosystems—including OTA, TMC, Distribution, Commercials Knowledge of industry bodies and regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairygodboss
